The Way of the Bodhisattva
Series Starts February 19, 2023
Sundays at 11:00 am.

in person & via Zoom*

In the whole of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition there is no work more treasured or widely practiced than the Bodhicharyavatara, or The Way of the Bodhisattva.
Following the the advice of our teacher Geshe Nima (now at his monastery in India), and with his guidance, we will study this renowned classic text, written by the eighth-century sage Shantideva.

This 11-week series will be led by Christopher Moroney (photo below).

The Way of the Bodhisattva is a condensation of all the Buddha’s teachings and clearly shows how these teachings can be integrated into our daily life. We will be working with a number of authoritative translations and commentaries to help us deepen our understanding of the text and to apply this understanding to our own practice of compassion and wisdom.
One of the translations we will be referring to can be purchased >here.  You may also enjoy this excellent video series

Preparing for Death
