Schedule of 2018 Teachings &  Events
Teachings and events are open to individuals interested in studying and practicing authentic Tibetan Buddhism. The Center is hosted on the property of a founding supporter, a few miles north of 1604. Events are offered FREE at no charge, although donations are gratefully accepted to support teachers and programs.  (Schedule is subject to change, and will be updated here.)


SATURDAYS at 3:00 pm
​Meditation-Deepening Practice

Guided sessions for training the mind to develop single-pointed calm abiding.
​3:00 pm - 5:00 pm • Free-of-charge

Saturday meditation training will be a time to work toward developing a stable practice that grows deeper over time. Led by senior students of Geshe Drakpa and Lama Passang, according to their instructions.

"Lam Rim" (Stages of the Path to Enlightenment) topics will be included in our gatherings. Each week, a specific stage will be covered, in the order that they are said to be achieved on the way to enlightenment.
SUNDAYS at 11:00 am
Morning Service & Tea

Traditional prayers, mantras, meditation, and teaching about the path to enlightenment.

Sunday dialog will be an informal gathering with meditation, discussion, Q & A, and personal sharing on topics related to the  Tibetan Buddhist path. Tea will be served in the Tibetan Tea Garden, weather permitting.

​Please arrive at 5 pm for 5:30 teaching. Dinner provided at approximately 6:30 pm

​"The Four Noble Truths" was Buddha's first teaching about the root cause of our unhappiness, and the path that results in lasting happiness. Issues such as karma and reincarnation will be covered. Although it's not required to attend both dates, taken together Buddha's entire teaching will be covered. Each session includes the teaching and discussion, with a light dinner provided.
