Who We Are
In 2006 two Tibetan Buddhist monks, Geshe Drakpa Gelek and Lama Passang Gelek, began teaching Buddhism to students in the San Antonio area. Over the years the group evolved into its current form, currently under the spiritual guidance of Geshe Lobsang Nima.

Our Mission

Compassionate San Antonio
Having signed and adopted the principals laid out in The Charter for Compassion, the Alamo City aspires to be a model both within its government offices and outside across the community. San Antonio city leaders have engaged in this global movement to adopt ethics and compassion as guiding principals.
