Venerable Robina Courtin  > ABOUT
In person and on the web

As Mahayana Buddhism practitioners we study and meditate to develop our hearts and minds—igniting our resolve to liberate others from suffering and to lead them to enlightenment.
In this weekend series Venerable will share insights and practices that prepare one for death.

Ven. Robina wrote: "At the
time of death, at the moment when this consciousness leaves this body, what is important? What is useful to me in that moment? What will be useful to that consciousness that will leave this body and take another body, according to Buddha; what will be useful? “

I
n this series we will refer to Lama Zopa 's book How to Face Death without Fear.  LINK

“Helping our loved ones at the time of death is the best service we can offer them, our greatest gift. Why?
Because death is the most important time of life: it’s at death that the next rebirth is determined.”

— Lama Zopa Rinpoche
